At our site in Watergrasshill, Cork, we are actively looking for a Boning Hall Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team as well as manage and coordinate production within the Boning Hall.
This is a full time, permanent position which will report into the Boning Hall Manager.
Some Key Responsibilities Include: Ensure that quality targets are achieved for key customersCo-ordinate order processing to ensure that service levels are of the highest standardComplete work in the most efficient mannerControl staff movements within department to ensure accurate work recordsImplement and enforce all Group HR PoliciesImplement and enforce all Group Health and Safety policiesMinimise waste in relation to packagingMinimise energy useParticipate fully in continuous improvement systemMaintain good relationships with other functions within the factory and maximise cross-functional workings to deliver the best overall result possible.Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Quality complaints of key customersService levels of key accountsVariable cost of productionYieldsMinimum Requirements: Must have previous experience supervising a team within a FMCG environment. Meat Industry experience would be beneficial.Experience in driving down costs through innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.Strong communication skills.Ability to work on own initiative.Confidence to make on-the-spot decisions.What can we offer you?
