Responsibilities: Perform bookkeeping for a variety of clients, including bank reconciliations.
Conduct monthly reconciliation of debtors and creditors.
Prepare and reconcile balance sheets monthly.
Compile annual accounts up to the trial balance stage.
Prepare and submit VAT and RCT returns.
Process weekly and monthly payrolls for clients.
Handle various administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within an accountancy practice.
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Sage preferred).
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Current experience in a practice environment.
