Bookkeeper

GPC finance is delighted to be working with an established and progressive accountancy practice in Dublin. They are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing finance team. The successful Bookkeeper will work closely with the internal finance team and external clients where required.
This role is offered on a Hybrid basis and based in South County Dublin.
RoleProcess transactions and prepare monthly and yearly trial balancesReconcile bank accounts, debtors and creditors accounts, VAT and PAYE control accountsPreparation of ad hoc reports as needed from time to timePayroll processingProvide general administrative support and assist in the smooth running of the officeOther duties and responsibilities as required to meet business needs from time to timeRequirementsProven minimum working experience of 3-4 years in bookkeeping / accounts roleExperience with Xero Software and transitioning clients is desirableStrong knowledge of computerised accounts is an advantage (i.e., Excel, Sage, etc.)Ability to manage workload and work to strict deadlinesSelf – motivated with excellent attention to detailSuperb career development and progression.If you are a Bookkeeper considering a career move, please feel to send your CV or contact Marc Palecpec for a confidential discussion.
