Senior Finanical Planning Analyst Company Overview: Senior Financial Planning Analyst Role with a leading city centre-based energy provider.
Commercial opportunity with flexible hybrid working.
Initially being offered on a one year contract basis.
Role Purpose Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance you will be responsible for the delivery of critical management reporting outputs, ensuring high-quality, actionable insights that align with strategic goals.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, commercially-minded finance professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Accountabilities Oversee the production of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reports.
Deliver comprehensive monthly performance reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and insightful analysis.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in the organisation, driving the delivery of Group-level financial insights and analyses.
Lead the financial relationship with Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs, ensuring consistency and alignment of market-sensitive reporting.
Partner with the Strategy Manager and Head of Commercial Finance to develop robust five-year financial forecasts, coordinating across business units and challenging assumptions to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years experience.
Proven experience in FP&A within a dynamic, global organization.
Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business performance drivers.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.
Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
