Overview An rare opportunity has opened up - we are looking for a site based Building Services Engineer to join our team in Dublin. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting multiple projects simultaneously providing Building Service expertise to the PM Group onsite team.
This is a hybrid position supporting projects across multiple sites throughout Ireland.
In addition to managing large-scale one-off projects, at PM Group we also provide a Managed Service for capital projects to a growing number of clients.
Our site-based Managed Service teams provide a cost efficient and effective framework for project delivery to our clients.
We take projects ranging in capital value from €100k to €15M from concept through all stages of the project life-cycle to handover.
Responsibilities In this role you will be:
Be a site based Building Services Project Engineer as part of our managed services team.Leading the design and execution of a range of HVAC and utilities project on site, liaising with the client users, other disciplines, contractors, etc.Collaborate with the PM Group office-based building services team to complete the design of projects such as energy efficiency upgrades, decarbonisation projects, chiller and other utility upgrades, HVAC upgrades to both production and support areas, etc.Involved in a wide range of projects, varying in size.Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have:
8+ years' experience in the design of mechanical services engineering, preferably in a consultancy environment.Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland / FHEQ level 6 UK) preferably in Building Services Engineering.Candidates with an Honours degree in Mechanical engineering will also be considered.Strong working knowledge of IES or similar.Excellent communication & presentation skills.Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Revit MEP.Why PM Group?
