Job Description Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Dublin, Hybrid , 2 days a week (on occasions extra days in the office will be required) Contract / Permanent : FTC 12 Months, With further extension Start date: September /Early October 2024   Role: The client's ICT and PMO teams support the enabling of ICT and Digital Services for their sector.
As part of the customer service strategy, the client is implementing a Case Management Solution (CMS) to track individual customer service queries across channels and agents over time.
The implementation of an end-to-end case management solution will offer a suite of capabilities that will enable the client to deliver an enhanced customer service experience to both customers and employees.
  We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Business Analyst Expert to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working on Agile projects, with prior experience in MS Dynamics Case Management Solution (CMS) and customer journey mapping being highly desirable.
  The Business Analyst must excel in producing Business Analysis artefacts in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, such as As-Is and To-Be process mapping, Business Requirements Specification documents, Functional Specification documents, Features, Epics, and User Stories.
The candidate will utilize available tools, particularly Microsoft Azure DevOps, and leverage their experience to ensure a formal and structured approach to recording and managing requirements is applied throughout the project lifecycle.
  The Business Analyst is expected to be an expert in all phases of the project lifecycle and will take responsibility for various tasks, depending on the project's needs, including but not limited to:   Blue Sky thinking facilitation Workshopping Data Gathering Requirements Gathering Stakeholder Interviews Data Analysis Process Mapping Feasibility Studies User Stories Gap Analysis Documentation Change Management   Technical Skills Requirements Management Tools : Familiarity with requirements management tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps.
Business Process Modelling : Skill in using tools like Visio for process modelling.
Digital collaboration: Skilled in using tools like Miro or Mural or MS Whiteboard for ideas collaboration.
Prototyping Tools : Experience with prototyping tools like Figma.
Data Interpretation: Ability to translate data findings into actionable insights and policy recommendations.
Business Process Understanding: In-depth knowledge of government business processes to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the organization.
Policy Analysis: Capability to analyse and interpret government policies and regulations for their impact on projects.
Integration Technologies : Knowledge of integration technologies and API's for connecting systems and data sources.
Data Analysis Tools : Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualization software for data analysis.
  Non-Technical Skills ·          Creative thinking and Problem solving skills ·          Good Collaboration skills ·          Proficiency in the English language ·          Ability to provide hands on leadership skills ·          Team player with excellent communication skills   Experience Level Required:   ·          It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of 7 years' experience in a similar BA role ·          Experienced working in Agile environments and with a proven record working as a Product Owner.
·          Expert user of Microsoft Azure DevOps with proven record of creating user stories and running sprints using the tool.
·          It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed hold the following qualifications or equivalents: Ø   Professional Qualification in Business Analysis or Product Development Ø   Agile framework certification Ø   ICT Qualification (Level 7 or above) Key Deliverable: The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables, are applicable to this Role.
·        Business Requirements Documents: Comprehensive documentation of business needs, objectives, and functional requirements ·        Use Cases and User Stories: Clear use cases and user stories that outline system behaviour from an end-user perspective ·        Process Maps and Workflow Diagrams: Visual representations of current and proposed business processes to facilitate understanding and improvement including 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' flows ·        Data Analysis Reports: Reports detailing data findings, trends, and insights to support informed decision-making ·        Workshop Facilitation: Facilitating Business and ICT units in workshops to work through requirements ·        Requirement decomposition: Utilisation of tools / techniques such as MoSCoW, 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams to work with end users to decompose their requirements ·        Business Impact Analysis: Analysis of how proposed changes will affect the organisation, stakeholders, and processes ·        Project Documentation: Work with the Project Manager, as required to help complete various project-related documents, such as project charters, scope statements, and status reports Requirements Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets : The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.
The resource experience should include Microsoft Azure DevOps as a requirements management tool.
Both Agile and Waterfall capabilities in process modelling and the use of collaboration with particular reference to usage of Microsoft Visio and a collaboration tool such as Miro or MS Whiteboard.
History of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams through utilising in-depth knowledge of working within a highly regulated or governmental organisation.

     Change Management: Competency in change management principles to facilitate smooth transitions during project implementations.
