What will my day to day look like? Reporting to the Director of client services, you will work to find new opportunities in our client base and new clients in Ireland and the UKDeveloping a pipeline of opportunities to nurture and stay in touch with, building relationships with themTurning these prospects into clients by understanding their requirements and businessesWorking on our CRM BULLHORN on Pipeline management and lead managementResearching and discovery of potential new clients we have not yet identified using LinkedIn, our database of contacts, internet e-zines, and business segments for discovery phase to find potential new clientsCollaborating with the wider team to ensure we are all working as a collective to achieve companywide goals.Understanding the consultants' capabilities to identify good new clients that suit themSounds good, what do I need? Degree qualified with 2+ years' experience in a Business Development role with a desire to move into consultative sales – this is more than just pitching a product – each sale is uniqueExperience in a structured approach to business development, market mapping, qualifying leads, understanding drivers and buyer behaviour etc.Proven ability to create and foster relationshipsFluent English to native standard and a valid working visaConsultative mindset and ability to understand complex business requirementsTenacity and resilience for business developmentGood personality and rapport building skillsStrong written, verbal communication, and presentation skillsThe base salary for this role is between €33,000 - €40,000, depending on experience.
However, commission is uncapped and there is an additional bonus/commission scheme in place when you reach or exceed your yearly target.
