Business Development Manager
Cork, Ireland (Remote)
We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager who will be based in Ireland and report directly to the Sales & Operations Manager, James Walker Ireland.

The Position
The role is responsible for strategically sourcing, developing, and executing a continuous pipeline of new business opportunities. You will engage with key stakeholders to win opportunities that will contribute to the long-term growth and profitability of the Company. Responsibilities include managing the generation, nurturing, and tracking of qualified leads into the sales process and delivering focused sales and marketing plans/campaigns in conjunction with Marketing that create urgency and shorten the sales cycle.
The person You are customer-focused with an exceptional customer service ethos and an ability to build customer loyalty.You are strategically focused, with excellent commercial and analytical skills.Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and the ability to process, analyse, interpret, and understand sales and commercial data.Have experience of working in a sales-oriented role with a sound understanding and use of sales strategies and methodology.Technical aptitude or experience.Have a proven track record of winning new business.Demonstrate an ability to overcome barriers, manage objections, and handle rejections.You have exceptional sales techniques – especially in consultative and value selling, preferably with highly technical products and services.You are a master communicator, demonstrating excellent presentation, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills at various levels of a business.Demonstrate a clear ability to problem-solve and make focused and considered decisions.Adaptable to change.Passionate about what you do and take responsibility for getting things done.Able to build great relationships with both internal and external customers.You use your knowledge to fully understand your customer needs and make a difference.Continually challenge your own practice, looking for new ways to improve and inspire others to change for the better.
