Business Process Analyst

Our client is seeking a Business Process Analyst with experience in understanding, documenting, and adopting business processes, procedures, and workflows in finance. This is an initial 12-month contract for a mid-level Business Process Analyst paying €400 - €425/day. The role can be worked in a hybrid capacity, working 2 days per week onsite in the Dublin city centre.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with subject matter experts to gather information on existing business processes and define proposed business process enhancements.Analyze and understand complex business processes, workflows, and procedures.Write clear and comprehensive business process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and procedural documents.Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects current and proposed business practices.Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in documentation.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate changes as needed.Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in business process documentation and technical writing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma) is a plus.Certification in business process mapping/management is preferred.Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst/Writer, Technical Writer, Business Analyst, or similar role.Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proficiency in process mapping and flowcharting tools (e.g., Visio).Strong understanding of business process documentation methodologies and techniques.Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable documentation.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
