About the Role: The Data Remediation team forms part of the Chief Data Office area within Data and Analytics and Technology at AIB. The team supports the data remediation process on behalf of Business Stakeholders within a complex IT and data infrastructure. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of the team's ability to deliver data analysis, sampling and remediation to further enhance the quality of the data to support the Organisation's business processes and reporting requirements.
Are you comfortable engaging with team members and business stakeholders to share data and learnings from sampling data?Are you comfortable following and challenging processes and associated controls?Are you comfortable in doing analysis of data quality issues and collaborating with your stakeholders to see data quality issues through to resolution?Are you organised, proactive, pragmatic, and an excellent collaborator?What you will bring: Experience in operating within set guidelines and following established processes to sample, analyse, interpret, and process information from various sources, recording results appropriately.Experience of working as part of a team to deliver defined business targets.Collaborate with other colleagues on the team and across the Data Quality teams to ensure data quality items are sampled and investigated in a timely fashion.Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to present complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.Operate with large datasets and provide data analysis when required.Experience with banking customer and credit systems is an advantage.Life at AIB: At AIB, we have a clear purpose - Empowering people to build a sustainable future.
