Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:   ·         Assist in the coordination of conferences, banquets, and events from planning stages to execution ·         Work closely with the Banqueting Manager to ensure all client requirements are met ·         Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in conferences and banquets, including servers, event coordinators, and support staff ·         Provide guidance and support to ensure staff performs their duties effectively ·         Oversee the setup of event spaces, ensuring proper arrangement according to event type and client preferences ·         Coordinate logistical aspects, such as seating arrangements, equipment setup, and signage ·         Interact with clients and guests to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience ·         Monitor the quality-of-service delivery and take corrective actions as required ·         Train new staff members on conference and banqueting procedures, service standards, and customer interaction ·         Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills of existing staff ·         Ensure that events meet or exceed established quality standard ·         Conduct inspections to ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and adherence to safety regulations        Maintain effective communication with the Banqueting Manager, staff, and other departments ·         Relay important information to staff and address any issues promptly About The Role Requirements for the Role: ·         Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or events industry ·         Knowledge of event planning and banqueting procedures ·         Strong organisational and leadership skills ·         Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities ·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously ·         Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to events ·         Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules ·         Customer-focused mindset and dedication to delivering exceptional service Skills Needed About The Company Trim Castle Hotel is a luxurious 4-star hotel situated in the historic Boyne Valley, offering stunning views of the magnificent Trim Castle.
