Requirements:BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc)Proficiency in C and/or C++ development under LinuxKnowledge of multi-threaded application developmentInsatiable appetite for problem-solving and learning about technologyTeam player - excels in a collaborative environment while using initiative to the team's benefitFocus on writing maintainable codeExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsAbility to ask for help, take advice, and incorporate constructive feedbackThis role is office-based, minimum expectation is hybrid office/remote work.1+ years of experience working in a Tech firm, preferably in the financial space.Experience/Knowledge of the following is desirable:Python programmingJava programmingIP networkingKnowledge of Financial trading concepts (orders, trades, quotes, etc) and protocols, including FIX.Working ArrangementsThis is a Hybrid position with weekly time in the office.
Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent.
The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).
