Carers (Retirement Home) We are recruiting Carers for a retirement home based on Griffith Avenue, Marino, Dublin 9.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, part-time Carers are needed for Day and Night shifts, and for relief work to cover for holidays.
The Role: Carers provide care and support to the elderly residents of the retirement home.
A high level of care and excellence in the provision of care is given to all residents which requires a deep understanding and respect for the dignity of every resident and the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
Carers: Carers must: Have experience of and a love for providing care to the elderly.
Be a team player.
Have a pleasant, helpful, friendly, compassionate and caring disposition.
Have good English.
Fetac level 5 required.
It is desirable that carers have completed care training especially regarding care of the elderly.
Carers must be willing to undertake mandatory training and comply with the policies and procedures of the retirement home.
Training: Carers will be provided with relevant training for this role in the retirement home.
Location: Dublin 9.
Contract during and Hours of work: Positions are permanent, part-time.
Carers are required for day and night shifts and for relief cover.
