Business Development Manager, Dublin Office based with some travel.
Purpose: Drive strategic supplier partnerships by executing plans to strengthen relationships, expand product lines, and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Supplier Partnerships Manage and grow visibility with untapped supplier partners.
Map decision-makers, secure internal champions, and create measurable engagement plans.
Build trust and influence within supplier organizations.
Opportunity Pipeline Management Develop and maintain a deal pipeline to secure new business.
Lead supplier interactions to expand alliances, product lines, and market reach.
Document supplier communications and update strategies regularly.
Cross-Team Collaboration Align with Marketing, Sales, and Executive teams to move suppliers through the pipeline.
Plan and lead strategy sessions before supplier meetings.
Ensure marketing alignment and follow-up on action items.
Ongoing Responsibilities: Monitor industry trends and maintain versatile communication skills.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Key Relationships: Reports to Regional Business Director.
Collaborates with Supplier Partners and Product Management teams.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in chemistry, chemical/industrial engineering, marketing, or business.
7+ years in strategic marketing, management, or sales within the chemical industry.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
English proficiency (German or French preferred).
MS Office proficiency and willingness to travel (50%+).
