** Location of the Post: There is currently one permanent vacancy available in HSE Dublin and South East, Iveagh Building, Carrickmines Park, Carrickmines, Dublin, D18 X015/ Foirgneamh Uíbh Eachach, Páirc Charraig Mhaighin, Carraig Mhaighin, Baile Átha Cliath 18, D18 X015 Post holders will be required to attend meetings within the Health Region and with colleagues in other Health Regions and nationally.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for General Manager, Change & Innovation, from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Purpose of the Post: The General Manager, Change and Innovation in each Health Region will work collectively with colleagues and carry responsibility for the functions noted below building up the required expertise within their teams:
1.
Systems Change Leadership including strategic alliances
2.
Programme and Portfolio Management
3.
Organisation Development & Design - building change & innovation capacity
The General Manager/s and their teams will progress Health Region implementation and:
· Work directly with the REOs and Executive Management Teams to develop the Health Regions change management plan based on national guidance and regional priorities ensuring that all development resources within the region are aligned and optimised to support this programme.
· Map existing change and innovation resources in each geographic area to scope out plans to develop more formal working relationships.
· Establish Change and Innovation Hubs in the Health Regions to focus specifically on service integration, service design and a population health orientation in line with the agreed programme of change and national parameters.
· Priority focus will be given to working with front line teams on progressing changes in work practices to support integrated working and Networks of Care.
· Individual GMs may be required to take a lead role for the Health Region aligned to a particular area of experience or expertise in addition to their core designated role.
This is to make the best use of people's collective skills and knowledge within the Health Region.
