Chef - Full Time

The Marlay, part of the CareChoice Group is one of South Dublin's most reputable nursing homes, built to very high standards and operated to deliver excellent care of the elderly.
We are now looking for a full time Chef.
The role of the Chef is to assist the Head Chef in the preparation of meals while adhering to all food safety requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Experienced in choosing, preparing, and presenting cold foods, such as salads, fruit salads, sandwiches.
Responsible for the creation, decoration, and presentation of desserts such as cakes, pastries and pies Knife skills - cutting, chopping, carving, dicing.
Ability to fill-in at other stations in the absence of Chefs Able to work in a team-oriented environment and under considerable stress.
Responsible for station hygiene and sanitation.
        Keeping all refrigeration, equipment, storage and working areas in clean, working condition in order to comply with health department regulations.
