Senior Partner Brightwater Executive - supporting companies attract top talent to leadership / executive roles About the Company Brightwater Executive is delighted to partner with our client, a significant Irish enterprise in the climate solutions sector, in their search for a Chief Financial Officer.

About the Position Reporting to the Managing Director, the CFO will be responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning and management of a large-scale company.
This individual will play a critical role in driving financial performance, ensuring the company's financial health and supporting the execution of growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and growth initiatives.
Oversee capital structure, balance sheet management and long-term financial planning to support large-scale projects.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Analyse financial performance and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
Provide actionable recommendations to the CEO and Board.
Manage the capital allocation process to improve total value contribution and optimisation of the current and future investment portfolio.
Ensure Treasury operations are effectively managed in accordance with policies approved by the Board.
Optimise the funding position of the company.
Oversee the raising of capital including debt, equity, and other financing mechanisms.
Develop and manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
Maintain robust internal controls and compliance frameworks to mitigate financial risks.
Experience/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and/or qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
10 years+ progressive financial leadership experience within a regulated and complex organisation with a strong background in infrastructure, renewable energy.
Proven capability executing business strategy and a track record of capital raising and managing large-scale financial operations.
Exceptional communicator, strong interpersonal and active listening skills, able to create impact and demonstrate proactive stakeholder relationship awareness.
Experience of working with Board/s of Directors.
