The CMO is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive and integrated marketing plan that aligns with the company's vision, mission, values, and goals.
The CMO leads a team of marketing professionals across various functions, such as branding, communications, digital, social media, content, events, and analytics.
Responsibilities Defining and communicating the company's value proposition, positioning, and messaging to target audiences and stakeholders.Developing and implementing innovative and effective marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, loyalty, and revenue.Managing the marketing budget and allocating resources optimally across channels, platforms, and activities.Measuring and reporting on the performance and impact of marketing efforts and activities, using data and insights to optimize and improve outcomes.Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners, such as senior management, sales, product, customer service, media, agencies, and industry associations.Establishing and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the marketing team and across the organization.Qualifications and Skills A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a business or marketing related discipline.Strong Brand Development experience to include major brand integration with other brands.A minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in the energy and retail sector.A proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver results in consumer businesses.A strong understanding of the energy and retail market, customer needs, trends, and best practices.A visionary and strategic thinker, with the ability to translate ideas into action.A dynamic and inspiring leader, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team.An excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to articulate and present complex concepts and ideas in a clear and compelling way.A creative and innovative problem-solver, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
