Role Overview:We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 or 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent) and will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our ECCE program.
Key Responsibilities:Support the operation in the day-to-day running of the classroom.Assist in planning and implementing an appropriate curriculum in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.Observe and document children's progress, ensuring records are maintained in line with Tusla requirements.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience in a childcare setting, particularly within an ECCE environment, is desirable.Strong understanding of child development and early years education.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A warm, caring, and patient approach to working with children.Garda Vetting is required prior to commencement.Remuneration:€14.15 – €17.80 per hour (depending on position and qualification).
