Now let us tell you about the role: Key Accountabilities: * Meet and greet customers, pricing loads appropriately.
* Manage and motivate site teams to maximize performance and productivity.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, including proper training and equipment use.
* Optimize the recycling process, ensuring best quality recyclable loads and efficient waste payloads.
* Ensure the site complies with EPA Licence and environmental standards.
* Minimize equipment downtime with effective preventive maintenance schedules.
* Maintain a clean and organized site, in line with company standards.
* Manage direct reports, including performance appraisals and scheduling.
* Maximize waste transfer vehicle loads and ensure cost-effective waste handling.
* Contribute to site strategy development and performance reporting.
Experience Required: * 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience (desirable but not essential).
* Strong people management and problem-solving skills.
* Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities.
* A quick learner with attention to detail and strong decision-making skills.
* Flexibility in the workplace, including availability for Saturday shifts.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
