Call Gary today at (phone number removed) Your new role includes: * Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, drainage, roads, utilities, and site developments.
* Project Management: Manage all aspects of design work for multiple projects, including coordination with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
* Technical Expertise: Provide advanced engineering solutions and technical advice in the preparation of design calculations, specifications, and drawings.
* Mentorship & Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and support junior engineers and design staff, promoting a collaborative and productive team environment.
* Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to project needs, managing expectations, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
* Quality Control: Review and approve design calculations, technical drawings, and documents to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Cost & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring that designs are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
* Site Visits & Assessments: Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve on-site issues as necessary.
* Innovation & Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities for innovation in design, process improvement, and the adoption of new technologies.
Experience you need: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Strong focus on infrastructure and site development projects.
* knowledge of civil engineering design principles, standards, and software.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Proactive, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
* Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
