The opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Administration Assistant to join our Cork office. A great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals wishing to progress their career within the insurance industry with long term career prospects. This role is office based and you will be required to attend the office 5 days a week.

Reporting to the Real Estate Team Leader your overall responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the Claims Technicians to provide efficiency and productivity in the handling of claims.
The role Your responsibilities will include: Provide technical claims handling supportRegister new claims and acknowledge/notify associated partiesDeal with internal and external queries in a professional manner and accurately record conversations/messagesEnsure compliance with financial procedures, such as the invoicing processEnsure data is accurately input in order to achieve high standards of data quality and management informationRecording daily timesheetsRun, check, analyse and distribute various management information reportsParticipate and contribute to projects as requiredOther ad hoc duties as requiredAbout you - Knowledge and Experience Demonstratable administration skills, with previous experience in administrative and/or support rolesHighly organised, with the ability to multi-task and self-manage a varied workload with changing prioritiesA strong team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to always deal professionally with clients, policyholders and third partiesStrong working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointSpecific sector administration experience would be advantageousAPA or CIP qualifications would be beneficial but not essentialThrive in a high-pressured working environmentBe driven to meet and exceed targetsFlexible with regards to travel which may be required as and when.The role comes with a competitive salary and excellent employee benefits.
