Commercial Manager Ireland Location:   DublinHours:    Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 – 17:30 Monday to FridayAbout the position:We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Commercial Manager who can add value and join us on our journey to develop Air & Seafreight sales across the Logistics sector in the Republic of IrelandKey Tasks and Responsibilities will include:Achieve and exceed a designated GP &  volume targetDevelop  relationships with Hellmann's global offices for specific trade routesEnsure Cross support all Hellmann Products : Air / Sea/ Road & Rail / Contract Logistics & build strong communication linesSupport the Hellmann sales team, with accompany at meetings to share specialist knowledge.Develop opportunities in line with Hellmann's Strategic business plan.Drive customer RFI/RFQ processes and responses either as a lead and/or in collaboration with the country or regional tender management teamOwn and/or support the network in regards to the implementation process of new and/or existing customers including Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Agreements and IT applicationsMaintain and develop assigned key accounts and/or identify and develop new target accountsAssist the local Branch Management in retention of secured business.Agree jointly with  Management a sales plan and target account platform.Maintain regular dialogue on customer development with manager and wider team.Develop strong working relationships with procurement, IS & operations team.Develop and maintain personal expertise in selling skills and industry knowledge.Represent the Company in a positive and professional manner, ensuring that our values are adhered to at all times.Own and deliver specific projects as assigned by the line managerTo monitor all Accounts to ensure low and nil spend customers are immediately identified and relevant follow up action is taken.To maintain effective customer records through Helios.To monitor and evaluate personal sales performance, and take corrective action as appropriate.About you:The ideal candidate will be educated in Maths and English (oral and written) to GCSE, Standard Grade or equivalent; grade A-C and be able to demonstrate a high level of competent computer skills in all areas of Microsoft office 365 Have substantial experience in a commercial sales environment within logistics in IrelandAbility to influence with a wide range of stakeholdersTarget driven with strong negotiating skills.Flexible team playerSalary is dependent upon qualifications and experience, plus car allowance and target driven commission scheme.What we can offer you: The option for Hybrid working, 34 days holiday including bank holidays, company pension, Life insurance, & Allowance towards healthcare costs.Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.Our Values: At Hellmann Worldwide logistics, we look for people who live; Our caring spirit, which makes us stand out from the restReliability and are accountable in every situationEntrepreneurship by knowing the business , industries and the marketForward thinking and are bold to bring in new ideas to perspectivesLeadership is of the utmost importance to us, not just as an add-on.
