With a strong Data Centre project pipeline and continued expansion of our product offerings and markets, we are seeking a commissioning / service engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities Based in our Dublin office, you will be required to travel throughout Ireland and Europe to carry out scheduled commissioning of our HVAC equipment and controls.
On site works such as snagging, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
Ensuring all the associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard.
The ability to develop and manage a detailed project delivery schedule and work plan.
Site surveys, resource forecasting and contract pricing input.
Ensure quality control procedures are implemented in-line with the manufacturer's guidelines.
Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications Client relationship management Assist with technical submittals following detailed project approval processes.
Completing health and safety documentation as required.
Technical input into new product development, testing and certification.
Liaise with senior management team.
Lead generation, identifying commercial opportunities for business development.
Requirements Self-motivated and customer focused, you will be required to work on your own initiative to solve on-site problems.
A technical and analytical mindset is required.
A willingness to travel throughout Europe.
A strong electrical bias (Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or HVAC controls background).
Experience of site work in an electrical commissioning or BAS /BMS controls capacity.
At least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
Good fundamental knowledge of specialist area to carry out maintenance, repairs, & commissioning.
PC literate and MS Office proficient to log and report site visits.
Familiar with reviewing CAD, BIM / Revit.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines.
A full clean driving license and valid EU working visa required.
Familiar with HVAC control systems.
An ability to manage customers' expectations and to communicate technical information.
Awareness of Health and Safety requirements and industry standards.
The ability to complete risk assessments and method statements.
Experience with data centres preferred but not essential. Proficiency in a second or more European language (Spanish/Italian/German) would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
