This is a full-time, office-based role at our headquarters, where you will ensure compliance with technical specifications, develop detailed submittals for approval, and support ESG goals by driving waste reduction and efficiency across all projects.
Responsibilities: Utilise site drawings to accurately calculate material quantities and develop detailed submittals based on specifications for approval, ensuring compliance with sustainability objectives and waste reduction targets.Interpret and verify material specifications, including Declarations of Performance and CE certification, to ensure full compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.Develop and implement waste reduction strategies using the 5S methodology, actively contributing to the company's sustainability goals and ESG commitments.Leverage CAD tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit, to develop technical documentation, facilitate material planning, and enhance project workflows.Support Lean construction practices and contribute to the adoption of BIM processes to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.Work closely with various departments and design teams to ensure seamless integration of project requirements and objectives.What We are Looking For: Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Construction Related field, Architectural Technology, or a related field.Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and similar tools.Knowledge of Lean or BIM processes is an advantage.Skills and Experience: Experience in creating material submittals and reviewing specifications within the construction industry.Strong understanding of construction materials and technical specifications.Interest in ESG principles, sustainability, and waste reduction.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Desirable Traits: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.Adaptability to handle both technical and operational responsibilities.Be part of MMD Construction's commitment to quality, collaboration, and community impact.
