Job role: Health & Safety advisor - Wicklow We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to work with one of Ireland's leading, family owned Residential Developers Operating for over 30 years, the company has established itself as a leading company providing housing and apartment schemes to the Greater Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare areas.
You will be tasked with day-to-day management of the site H&S tasks and reporting directly to the health and safety manager.
Day-to-day responsibilities: Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employers industry Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards and communicating to all employees Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers Delivering Toolbox Talks and liaising with HSE, Fire Officers, Environmental Health Officers Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to Making changes to working practices making them safer and ensuring they comply with current legislation Skills and qualifications: Recognised EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred) 2+ years in similar role Previous Residential/Civil experience In return, the successful candidate will receive a market leading salary and benefits package including: Pension Healthcare Life assurance Flexible working options Vehicle This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that wants to further their career in health and safety with great career progression opportunities.
