Contracts Manager Our client, a prominent global EPCM company, is currently seeking Contract Managers to join a dynamic team working in highway, public realm, and transportation projects.

Project Overview: Providing technical advice and support for highway infrastructure operations and maintenance. Responsibilities include undertaking day-to-day contract management, PPP contract administration, compliance monitoring, and project/program management services.

Role

Reporting and supporting the Commission Manager in delivering programme and project management and technical advice and services to the client, you will work within a small team, requiring experience in contract administration, project management, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Coordinating specialists, managing contracts, reviewing submissions, expediting project schedules, ensuring compliance, and conducting regular inspections;

– Prepare and present reports to clients;

– Draft and review correspondences to contractors;

– Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders;

– Manage day-to-day operational duties;

– Continuously improve operations and deliver quality customer service;

– Propose alternatives for expediting / recovering of project schedules with contractors for presentation to, and agreement with, the client;

– Attend Risk Reduction meetings and record actions and mitigations agreed;

– Monitor contractual compliance by the contractor, and early identification of issues and problems.

Requirements

– Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical/electronic engineering; or in another relevant discipline

– 5 years +' post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects

– Ideally experienced in mechanical/electrical systems projects and infrastructure maintenance

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Experience in chairing meetings and managing resources

– Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

– Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word

Desirable Skills

– Experience in Infrastructure O&M schemes and Intelligent Transport Systems

– Familiarity with PPP and NEC3 contracts, commercial risk, and procurement strategies

– Knowledge of highway engineering standards, including DMRB
