Over 300,000 domestic and internationally traded bonds, equities and investment funds are currently deposited with Clearstream.

Your Responsibilities The Corporate Actions Group assumes responsibility for the administration of all Events covering Mutual Investment Funds in Clearstream along with exposure to the Voluntary aspect of Hedge Funds. The main purpose of the role is to Notify Customers of new Events and execute these Events on receipt of proper confirmation from the Market. This role will involve investigation and problem solving, ensuring all requests are responded to in a timely and accurate manner.
Execute all Corporate Action Events on the Custody & Banking systems within the set timelines & SLAs Ensure all Corporate Action cases are presented to the Control team in a clear & complete manner Provide a pro-active contribution to ensure the targets & objectives of the team are being achieved Liaise with Transfer Agents, Depositories and Clients to resolve complex cases Ensure timely responses to Client queries where relevant Work with & as part of a multi-national Team across Clearstream locations The candidate will need to be able to work to tight deadlines, have excellent attention to detail & the ability to work on their own initiativeYour Profile An interest in learning about the funds industry Currently studying for a third level qualification in Business or Finance related area Be risk aware and take all steps necessary to minimise errors Proficient with MS Office Excel and Word Strong ability and experience of multi-tasking Flexibility & openness to change Proactive with strong organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Excellent problem solver, solution minded & forward thinking Excellent interpersonal skills, working well independently and in a team environment Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
