Corporate Actions – Operations Manager - Limerick, IrelandRole Overview
Assisting Management position overseeing the performance of corporate action events and income-related activities for EMEA, Australia, and Saudi Fund Administration.
Responsible for evaluating and reconciling complex events, organizing team workflows, and collaborating with the Section Manager on team resourcing, processes, and projects.
Duration: 12-month contract + ExtensionLocation: On-site in Limerick (at least 3 days per week)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure accurate preparation, processing, and execution of corporate action events within designated deadlines.Guarantee accurate and timely reflection of dividend entitlements across all Fund Administration client locations.Regularly review and oversee outsourced events and activities to maintain control standards and ensure consistency across locations.Demonstrate effective leadership skills.Manage task allocation within the team, ensuring equitable workload distribution.Take ownership of client issues and drive successful resolutions.Complete error reporting to high standards within SLAs, ensuring preventive measures are implemented on time.Oversee offshore service levels and maintain effective management.Address and manage potentially challenging situations that may impact team service delivery by building strong relationships across Fund Administration locations.Build and enhance corporate action knowledge within the team to meet all processing and reporting requirements.Proactively identify and improve core procedures to support evolving products and services.Exhibit a continuous learning mindset and strive to enhance the quality of service.Prioritize the career development of team members and provide objective, regular feedback.Maintain strong relationships with other business units such as Pricing, Asset Setup, and Custody.Lead Fund Administration location service calls and reporting.Consistently prioritize team goals and ensure deadlines are met efficiently.Support the implementation of business plans.Contribute to small to medium-sized projects, ensuring team processes evolve accordingly.Regularly update and review team procedures, ensuring they are current and compliant.SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Experience: Minimum of 7 years in the funds industry.
Experience in both fund accounting and corporate actions is ideal, but strong expertise in either area is also acceptable.Procedural Expertise: In-depth knowledge of processes and workflows.Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.Quality Control: Proven ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.Organization and Planning: Strong organizational and time management skills.Problem-Solving: Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in PC applications, particularly MS Excel and Word.
Experience with SunGard's Invest One Enterprise Fund Administration system is advantageous.Systems Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg and IDS online systems is essential.Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments, valuations processes, and Central Bank regulations.Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success as a Fund Administrator, with supervisory-level responsibilities such as coordinating projects, training team members, or conducting quality checks.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively through various methods and channels.Ownership and Initiative: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.If this role sounds like a good fit for you, I'd love to hear from you.
