Cost Engineer - Pharma

Job DescriptionOur Client is one of Ireland's leading cost management consultancies working in the Pharma and Biotech sectors.They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Cost Engineer to work on a Waterford based Pharma site.You will work with a multi-disciplined capital projects team, implementing and evaluating earned value on projects to track progress.Proactively monitoring and communicating budget, actual status, and forecast costs for projects.Creating client and internal status reports that effectively communicate cost statusUse analytical thinking ability to assist the team to develop accurate and timely estimates on a monthly basis.Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis, variance analysisExperience with work breakdown structures and resolving financial issuesReviews data to assist in forecasting projects to completionConsult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and resolve issues.RequirementsDegree in finance/accounting, quantity surveying or engineeringMin 6+ years experience in Cost Engineering /Project Controls on Bio/Pharma ProjectsAdvanced Excel and/or Power BI skillsPackageCompetitive hourly rates - negotiable dependent on experienceLong term contract min 12 months Flexible working options WFH / Site based (min 2 days per week on site)
