Shared Services Model This role will sit within a shared services model, the finance services department will be made up of team members across Credit and Collections and Accounts Payable.
Why this role is valuable?
The Credit Control Manager is a 6 Month Contract will be responsible for establishing, implementing and driving a strong robust control environment across the Credit and Collections team and wider Finance Services department.
Key areas of responsibility: Push for the continuous reduction of overdue debt.
Monitor and review current customers' credit worthiness.
Manage the Credit & Collections team.
Write / improve processes and controls in line with global policy.
Assist with the management of credit financing and global insurance policy.
Provide insight into debt trends, potential risk and possible improvements.
Key requirements: Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in credit controller management role Proven credit control experience essential Excellent IT skills with a high proficiency in Excel Excellent communication skills required, both internally and externally, using telephone or email to suit the circumstances Ability to work at speed with minimal supervision, whilst maintaining an eye for detail Adaptable and flexible to change with a willingness to learn and challenge in order to drive continuous improvement Comfortable operating in a matrix organisation structure Ornua competencies: Curiosity: Creates an environment for innovative thinking; rewards and recognises creative thinking and continuous improvement Forward-Looking: Leads others through change and contributes to competitive challenges and functional strategic plans Ownership: Makes decisions about sustainable growth and/or manages performance and ensures the quality and delivery of others' work; rewards and recognises success Working Together: Ensures own team effectiveness; facilitates and leads cross-functional working Communicative: Applies advanced communication skills, considering impact on the audience and desired outcomes Customer Focus: Advocates for the customer, balances customer and business needs, and spots opportunities for growth Expertise: For complex challenges or new areas, applies effective professional skill, analysis and decision making, and planning and reviewing Integrity: Empowers teams to demonstrate integrity #LI-HYBRID
