Credit Risk Manager | Asset Finance

Details of the offer

My client is a global asset finance group based in Dublin city centre.
They are recruiting an experienced credit risk manager to lead their credit team in Ireland.
This will include managing people in credit risk and recoveries across multiple industries with deal sizes between €250k - €50 million+.

The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining a solid risk culture in an asset finance or corporate banking environment.
They will partner with the Regional Head of Credit and CRO to ensure effective and efficient risk-related processes.

You will participate in credit committees and ensure the company's risk appetite is embedded in all credit decisions.

You will analyse the risks in customer and vendor applications, approve transactions within your authorisation level, decide upon strategies regarding distressed accounts, and ensure that regulatory requirements are embedded in the daily activities to support the business in achieving its budgeted risk loss targets.
You will have great local market (trend) knowledge.

You will support translating customer needs into solutions while meeting the organisation's risk appetite.
You will closely align all relevant risk items with the commercial domain.
You will always display the attributes of a true leader: reliability, consistency, sincerity, competence, and concern/caring.

For complex transactions, you will lead the environment to ensure quality support for the risk assessment (financial, asset, market, legal, contractual), review and re-rate customers/end-users, local vendors, or local dealers, and have these presented in the Credit Committee, Regional CRO/ Regional credit specialist, and to Group Risk if outside as applicable given authorities set.

You are responsible for supporting, implementing, and monitoring (new) processes and policies applicable to your domain in cooperation with Regional Risk.

My client offers an excellent package, including a bonus, a 15% pension, and health & dental insurance.
They also have a policy that anyone in the business can work from home at least 60% of the time.
You must be comfortable leading a team in a semi-virtual environment and using remote tools.

All applications will receive a response.
