The Role As Credit Risk Manager, you'll be reporting to the Head of Credit Risk, playing a crucial role in shaping our risk management capabilities and fostering a culture of effective risk management.
You will work alongside the senior management team to develop and implement credit strategies that enable sustainable growth while maintaining robust risk controls.
The position is based at the company's head office in Belfield Office Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin with 4 days (Mon to Thu) in the office and Friday remote.
Key Responsibilities Lead credit assessment and underwriting of SME financing applicationsDevelop and maintain credit risk policies and proceduresManage portfolio monitoring strategies and early warning systemsActive participation in Credit Committee decisionsCreate and analyse portfolio performance metricsEngage with institutional funders on credit-related mattersDrive innovation in credit assessment through technology integrationMentor and develop junior team membersSupport product development initiatives with risk insightsLiaise with external stakeholders including legal counselThe Ideal Candidate Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services within a credit risk capacityDeep understanding of SME credit and transactional riskStrong commercial acumen and analytical capabilitiesExperience in receivables finance or working capital solutions preferredExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to balance risk and commercial considerationsStrong leadership and team development capabilitiesProficient in financial modelling and credit analysisTech-savvy with an interest in fintech innovationRelevant qualifications in business, finance, or related fieldWorking At Financefair Competitive salary with performance related bonus opportunityA contributory pension scheme with life assurance and other insurancesA contribution to a healthcare plan of your choice or gym membershipA company who invests in the learning and development of its peopleA great team with a good sense of funOpportunities for career progression as we scale and expand geographically
