In this role you will:
Analyse external contractor bids to ensure client value for moneyCreate estimates and cost plans for key client developmentsEvaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gapsMaintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimatesOptimize project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates to increase client valueProvide estimating expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction stages of the projectsBuild trust and credibility with partners across the business, from 3rd parties to client specialists to contractors and consultantsSupport nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communicationWe would love to hear from you if you:
Have increasing levels of scope and responsibility as an Estimator in a construction environmentHave experience in Civil, Structural and Architectural componentsEnjoy applying your advanced analytical skills to investigate and interpret complex technical dataAre an excellent communicator verbally and in writingExcel in a collaborative and friendly team environmentLove a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlinesThrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and funThe salary range for this role is between $96,000 and $135,000 but actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set and education.
