Job Title: Senior CT Radiographer Location: Dublin Job type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior CT Radiographer to join a Radiology department, within a Dublin hospital that is growing from strength to strength.
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated CT Radiographer who wants to be part of a Radiology department that delivers first-class cross-sectional imaging services.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced CT Radiographer to join a highly skilled cross-sectional team of Radiographers.
This hospital provides a full range of medical and surgical care across a broad spectrum of specialties.
The successful candidate: The Senior CT Radiographer with a minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience is required to provide a first class clinical and professional service.
Rotation through other specialties is a possibility depending on experience.
The Senior CT Radiographer will work within a thriving environment, with highly skilled Radiographers, that are dedicated to making a positive difference to the lives of their patients.

As a Senior CT Radiographer, you will enhance your current skills and be supported to develop further skills whilst also gaining valuable experience in supervision and leadership.
Responsibilities will include: Perform duties under the supervision of the Radiology Services Manager (RSM) and Clinical Specialist Radiographers.
Lead the delivery of radiography services in a professional and efficient manner.
Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive, patient-centered service.
Adhere to all departmental imaging protocols and ensure accurate identification of patient images.
Rotate through all radiology areas as needed.
Participate in the on-call service as required.
Lead efforts in establishing and maintaining standards for quality improvement, ensuring compliance with existing standards and policies.
Contribute to service planning and development and engage in service improvement initiatives.
Participate in routine equipment inspections and quality assurance procedures.
Stay up-to-date with current radiographic techniques and imaging developments; participate in in-service training as needed.
Actively engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Support and participate in research projects and assist in training junior or less experienced staff members.
Perform any other duties as directed by the Radiology Services Manager or Clinical Specialist Radiographer in the assigned area.
Eligibility Criteria: Must hold a Diploma/Degree of Radiography.
Must hold CORU registration Minimum of 3 years CT experience in a busy Radiology department Demonstrate experience of working with a team of Radiographers.
Have proven ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Evidence of continuing professional development.
Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative.
Flexibility in role and take on additional duties as required.
