HRI is seeking a Curriculum Development & Standards Manager to oversee the development and enhancement of Equuip's training courses.
This role involves ensuring that our programmes meet industry standards and support the sustainability of the horse racing and breeding industry.

Reporting to:  Equuip Manager (HRI's Industry, Education & Training Manager) Role Purpose:  To structure and develop Equuip's training courses, ensuring they meet the required qualification standards.
This role is crucial for maintaining compliance and sustainability within the horse racing and breeding industry.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance Equuip's programme of courses by reviewing, editing, and developing curriculum proposals from industry experts to ensure they are best in class and meet industry and qualification standards.
Foster collaborative working relationships with key industry and external stakeholders to provide future education and training opportunities.
Enhance current Equuip courses to ensure they meet high standards of professional education and training.
Coordinate curriculum changes by collaborating with appropriate departments.
Maintain a master list of academic programmes offered by Equuip.
Provide technical advice on curriculum standards to industry experts and course developers.
Develop student learning outcomes, measurement tools, and assessments that effectively measure defined learning objectives and programme outcomes.
Prepare curriculum items for administrative approval, including new curriculum items as needed.
Support the development of the education team to ensure best-in-class education and training programmes.
Assist the Equuip Manager with projects and research as directed by the strategic plan and the organisation's key priorities.
Key Skills and Experience: Level 8 or equivalent qualification in Education, Agriculture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable position within the Education/Adult programmes area.
Proven experience collaborating with strategic partners and stakeholders to deliver best-in-practice solutions.
A keen interest and strong understanding of thoroughbred racing and its stakeholders.
Excellent written skills, with the ability to produce well-documented reports for consideration at all levels.
Ability to work efficiently, providing timely information and driving forward multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with key internal and industry stakeholders.
Well-organised, able to multi-task, work under pressure to meet key deliverables, and thrive on new and diverse challenges.
A team player who can work alongside all members of the Equuip team.
