Job Title: Data Analyst – Insurance
Location: North Dublin
Abrivia Recruitment is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our client, a prestigious Global Insurance Group based in North Dublin. The role will begin with a focus on analysing claims data, identifying patterns and anomalies that can improve operational processes. As the role develops, it will expand to include premium analysis, providing critical insights that influence decision-making across both operations and claims functions.
This role will be on a hybrid model of 3 days on-site and comes with a competitive package including bonus, pension and private healthcare. Your Role: Analyse claims data from underwriters using Excel to identify key trends and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with operations and claims teams to turn raw data into actionable insights, enhancing claims management and premium forecasting.Provide critical data analysis and insights to support decision-making within the operations and claims departments.Identify and interpret patterns in claims and premium data to inform strategic business decisions.Ensure accurate data reporting by working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and reliability in analysis.Contribute to premium analysis and support evolving business needs as the role progresses.Your Skills: Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, etc.).A passion for working with data and a keen eye for detail.Ability to work independently while collaborating with various teams.Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity for uncovering insights.Prior experience in claims or insurance is a plus, but not required.A background in data analysis or a related field.If you meet the above criteria and are looking for a challenging role within a dynamic environment, we would like to hear from you.
