As a Data Center Technician you will work as part of the operations team whose primary responsibility is the maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure. This position is full-time and shift-based, operating on a 24*7 rotation.
Key job responsibilitiesFirst line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issuesPerform regular server hardware repairs (drives, motherboards etc.)Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS related repairsWork with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to complete routine workEngage with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPsAdhere to security and safety best practices in the data centerParticipate in Data Center power & cooling eventsIdentify and help create process improvements relevant to the data center environmentPerform server upgrades, rebuilds, scheduled works as requiredWork and meet SLA's against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflowInteract with third-party vendors & contractors BASIC QUALIFICATIONSAre 18 years of age or olderHigh school or equivalent diplomaPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
