About the role: As a Workday Integration Engineer at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients maximize the value of their Workday system through seamless integrations with other enterprise applications.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, business analysts, developers, and project managers, to design, develop, and implement effective E2E integration solutions.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that align with their organizational needs.
Develop and configure Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
Implement data transformations, mappings, and validations to ensure accurate and efficient data flow between Workday and external systems.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of integration solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Provide guidance and support to clients on integration best practices, data governance, and security considerations.
Design and implement specific Workday functional modules or build integrations to send data from Workday to downstream systems such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, Middleware technologies such as Mulesoft, ADP etc Conduct sessions with clients to analyse business requirements and provide solutions to complex business problems Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client's unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client requirements.
Work directly with key HR and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements sign-off Create detailed system interface specifications or functional configuration workbooks About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of previous experience as a Workday Integration Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of Workday and its integration tools.
Proficiency in developing and configuring integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
Solid understanding of integration concepts, such as web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and API integration frameworks.
Experience with Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and Workday Report Writer.
Workday certifications (such as Workday Integration Certified) are a plus.
