The ultimate purpose of technology teams in GxP environments is to serve the evolving needs of the business. We are a specialist provider of consultancy and implementation services for IT infrastructure and data architectures within life science manufacturing. Our role is to be a companion on the road for technology teams to be able to use as a tool at times when decisions need to be made.
We now have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Delta V Automation Engineer to join our growing team and work on site with our blue-chip multinational clients within the pharmaceutical industry. This role is a full-time role based out of one of our client sites in Cork.
The PositionThe successful candidate will be a smart, enthusiastic individual who has a keen interest in developing their technical knowledge. Your responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to:
Development of automation functional and detailed design documentsDesign and configuration of process graphicsCoding of DeltaV CMs, EMs and Phase ClassesConfiguration of Unit Operations, Unit Procedures and ProceduresWorking with validation engineers to ensure that the code is validated to the appropriate standardsCode review and testing of DeltaV code and configurationSupporting customer walkthroughs/interactive reviews of codeAutomation support for C&Q during the commissioning phase of the projectsPerform loop tuning activitiesThe RequirementsDegree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, and Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronic EngineeringAt least 5 years previous automation experience within a pharma environmentMinimum of 3 years Delta V experienceKnowledge of GMP's, regulatory requirements, computer system validationS88 / Batch Delta V knowledgeExpert understanding on all Project Lifecycle phases and tasksAbility to work independentlyA valid Irish work visa is preferred for this roleAbout usOleson is a technology strategy & transformation practice.
