Depot Sales Manager

Our client, an International global leading supplier in the commercial fishing industry is seeking a Depot Sales Manager on a permanent basis. This role is based in Castletownbere, West Cork. In this role, you will lead operations, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction along with fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Attractive Package on offer. There will be some travel involved as part of this role to Kerry and West Cork. You will be leading a team of 4-6. Overview of Main Responsibilities: Increase sales, improve efficiency and deliver on the profitability objectives for the region.
Develop existing and new customers/markets to create and leverage the Company's leadership position and deliver profitable growth.
Lead day-to-day operations of the Business Unit, collaborating closely with other managers to achieve operational goals.
Drive quality system improvements and support new product introductions.
Establish and maintain effective communication with Customers, Suppliers and Internal staff to ensure the success of the region.
Maintain and improve standards in health, safety and employee welfare across the business unit and ensure full compliance on all legal and Company policies and standards.
Develop and implement action plans to deliver the agreed sales strategy for the business unit balancing the need to grow sales and margins.
What the ideal Depot Sales Manager looks like: Experience in customer-facing roles
Experience in upselling, managing a team
The ability to effectively build and manage client relationships.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Open to travel
