The After Sales and Upgrades department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience when completing aftersales projects for our customers, supporting service sites in executing special campaigns and internal project support within the department.
The department is part of the Offshore Service organization in the Vestas NCE Region. Here you become part of a committed team of >500 colleagues who daily work on delivering Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes everything from strategy work, operational improvement, Health & Safety, technical case handling to delivering the services on the wind turbines offshore.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Deputy Site Manager at Vestas, you will support planning of projects and be responsible for the execution and closure of the projects referring to the Site Manager and/or Project Manager. You will remain onboard during project execution in rotation 14 days on 14 days off. During the planning stage of the project the Deputy Site Manager specifically agrees a work pattern with the Project Manager keeping the relevant Special Projects Coordinator informed.

Manage the internal interface between the project and the Service SiteManage the external interfaces between the project and the marine logistics in the execution phaseEnsuring the efficient use of assigned resourcesReport progress status into our internal systems and to the Site Manager and/or Project Manager throughout the projectReceival of goods, approval of hours and service order planning, maintenance, and closure within SAPDeliver toolbox talks, back to work briefings and is overall responsible for Safety and WellbeingQualifications3+ years of experience with offshore wind and preferable aftersales activitiesKnowledge of the Stage Gate modelDeep knowledge of WTSR (wind turbine safety rules)Knowledge of the Vestas WTG portfolioGood knowledge of MS office and SAPDriver's license, category BElectrically or mechanically mindedStrong HSEQ mindset, promoting safety and quality cultureProactive and good problem-solving skills, is responsible and result-orientedTakes initiative and enjoys working independently while having good teamwork skills, is inclusive and has the skills to motivate othersOrganised and handles pressure wellGood communications skills, enjoys networking and building relationships with different stakeholders. Additional informationTravel: This is a traveling role, so it is required you travel and remain onboard during project execution. The work rotation is 14 days on 14 days off.
Location: As this is a traveling role within the Vestas NCE region you can be located anywhere inside this region, so we will accept applications from candidates located in Northern and Central Europe.
