To our office in Prague (hybrid) we are seeking an experienced, energetic, forward-thinking professional to join our Information Technology group.
The role will be responsible for providing desktop engineering, GPO, and Operating System Image development services.
You will work alongside App Services, Deployment Services, Applications Owners, the Core Applications group, and Information Security as part of the global client computing environment.The expected outcome will include driving excellence in user experience.The role requires leveraging industry leading tools and processes to provide high quality, reliable, and cost-effective desktop management services to our company's employees globally.What you should doEngineer & support corporate desktop Windows configurationsUnderstand Microsoft Configuration Manager Operating System Deployment (OSD) using Task SequencesDesign Windows deployment strategiesManage, test, and deploy Group PoliciesRespond to all incoming requests for new or changes to Group PolicyManage priorities, timelines, and communicate with all necessary parties through deployment processDocument the environment in a customer facing formatCreate and maintain all SDLC documentation3rd-Level support and identification of root cause with strategic solutions (requests/CPRs/outages)Working with the latest technologiesResearch and master new technologies quicklyProvide technical guidance and implementationWork closely with various teams and stakeholders such as Infrastructure, Patching & Deployment Services, Applications Owners, Directory Services, and Information Security teamsEnsure adherence to global standards, policies, and Service Level Agreements (SLA)Collaborate across IT and business areas to develop and implement new processes that help maintain the company's computing environmentHow we see the ideal candidateOverall Professional CompetenciesAbility to take initiative and work with minimum direction in a highly demanding environmentPossess strong technical and analytical skills with an ability to adapt and rapidly learn new technologiesProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional customer service orientationStrong understanding of desktop security software, specifically Microsoft DefenderExtensive technical troubleshooting capabilitiesWorking knowledge and understanding of the ServiceNow platformExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organizationAbility to present technical ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly languageReal world project management or project coordination experience is a plusPossess a solid understanding of the tenets of computer management (Software Distribution, Active Directory, Configuration Manager, Intune etc.
