Oliver James have partnered with an International Bank, who have their European HQ based locally to appoint a Director for Financial Regulatory Reporting team, as they continue expanding and strengthening their operations across EMEA.
The successful candidate will provide functional support to the EMEA Head of Regulatory Reporting on the delivery of regulatory reports to both local and European regulators and can expect a varied day-to-day such as but not limited the below:
Produce key financial regulatory reports, including FinRep, Statistical, AnaCredit, and climate-related submissions.Stay current with evolving regulatory reporting requirements.Continuously review and improve regulatory reporting processes to enhance quality and efficiency.Participate in various projects, including the implementation of new regulatory reporting standards and strategic improvements to regulatory reporting infrastructure.Conduct system testing to accommodate relevant changes.This position would suit a strong VP/Senior Manager who has hands-on experience with returns rather than those in an oversight position along with the following attributes:
Experience at VP or Director level in a similar role.Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong knowledge of accounting principles.Extensive experience in Ireland's regulatory reporting environment; familiarity with prudential reporting is a plus.Expertise in AnaCredit, FinRep, and statistical reporting.Proactive and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to take ownership.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficiency in Excel.If you would like to be considered for the position, click apply below.
