The position of Grade VIII attached to Older Persons Services is a leadership role in an organisation committed to achieving and maintaining a standard of excellence for our residents, service users and staff of Older Persons Services across Dublin North City and County.

The Grade VIII Older Persons Services will be an experienced health service manager who wants to be part of a team with a common goal to deliver excellent services to the Older Population of Dublin North City and County.

The post holder will play a key leadership role in overseeing the enhanced and expanded services for their assigned area in Older Persons Services across Dublin North City and County.

Older Persons Services are responsible for 101 short stay rehabilitation beds, 278 residential beds across 5 Community Nursing Units, 6 Day Services, 3 Specialist ICPOP teams and a Home Support Service budget of approximately €123.9m.

Dublin North City and County is part of Regional Health Area Dublin and North East and is one of the 6 Regional Health areas across the country and is responsible for providing care and services to our geographical population of approximately 674,310 (Census 2022).
