Responsibilities of the Role: Ensuring the timely distribution of documents & drawings to project personnel Working in accordance with company procedures & guidelines Distribution of drawing transmittals and submittals to client Producing and managing technical submittal and drawing registers Receiving and full quality check of all drawings and documents transmitted by the lead consultants.
Return of quarantined documents to the issuer for full correction and re-issue.
Management of document control software system ensuring that all parties receive adequate training and then use the system.
Logging of training for central engineering department staff Maintenance of controlled document registers and associated documentation Setting up & keeping commissioning asset registers up to date on DCBS projects Maintaining NextGen power BI commissioning reports Issuing of RFI's to clients as per engineer's direction Producing various reports for Engineering manager & senior engineering staff as requested General Administration Data entry on SAP, Running SAP reports and queries Liaising with Safety Manager and Client Maintain up to date Org Charts Maintaining office stock, requesting printing, helping expat with paperwork needed etc, approving invoice payments All other duties associated with this role Essential Criteria for the Role: Strong Administration experience PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Ability to liaise and manage all site paperwork Excellent telephone manner Attention to detail Ability to multitask and work under pressure Strong interpersonal and Organisational skills Pride in the quality and presentation of work Excellent communication skills Desirable Skills: Experience in the construction or engineering industry advantage but not essential SAP experience advantage but not essential as full training will be given Mercury is an equal opportunities employer.
