(D22) 'Opportunity's knocking' for a professional and self motivated individual to join a team of dedicated technicians on our client site.
Our door is open to someone with electrical and mechanical qualification/skills who has experience working in an industrial environment!What you'll do:Conduct schedule tests and calibration procedures to verify the functionality and accuracy of electrical components within the door systems.Adjust settings as necessary to optimize performance.Have a good understanding of Hydraulics and PneumaticsFault find to component or circuit board levelUndertake Planned Preventative Maintenance on a wide range of industrial doors, dock levellers, loading docks and air locks.Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and address any concerns or questions on systems.Role will include working on various specialised door types, training to be provided.
Continual learning also offered to assist the roleEnsure compliance with regulatory and company requirements and safety standards related to scope of workMakes decisions within parameters set by line Manager using job/specialist experienceProduce technical reports that explain ongoing issues and faults.Maintain tools, equipment, PPE in a good working condition.Report to supervisor, keeping them informed of activity progress and highlight any problemsWhat you bring:Industrial door experience including installations, service & repairsExperience in mechanical, commercial, and/or industrial maintenance rolesA good knowledge of electrical & mechanical fault-finding.Must have excellent communication skills, with an ability to work efficiently within a team and individuallyA safe approach to using power tools and hand toolsDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with automated door systemsTechnical training in electrical systems preferredA systematic approach to problem solvingFamiliar with the use of MS Office, with the ability to produce reportsWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to?be part of something greater.
