The Duty Manager has the responsibility to maximise guest satisfaction by offering fast, efficient, and excellent service to both customers and employees. All tasks carried out by the Duty Manager should be performed according to the procedures and guidelines of the hotel.

Role/Responsibilities: To support staff and assume a leadership role.To deal with customer complaints or issues in conjunction with the HOD to ensure smooth running of their shift.Ensure all departments are fully staffed with the structures they have in place.Provide excellent guest service experiences for clients throughout their stay.Monitor advance bookings and ensure special requests/FAM Trips/VIPs are all prepared in advance.Attend meetings and training required by the Resort General Manager.Assist colleagues to perform similar or other jobs when necessary.Assume the duties of Duty Manager for the shift.Deal with guest issues in order to ensure guest satisfaction prior to the guest leaving the property.Complete fire walks and security walks in line with the Duty Manager shift.Requirements: A qualification in a Hospitality related degree is desirable.Previous experience as a Duty Manager with a minimum of 2 years in a similar position.Working knowledge of time and attendance systems, hospitality guest booking systems (e.g., Opera).Experience using restaurant software packages.Experience in Health & Safety compliance.Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the overall management team with strong people management skills and excellent organizational skills.Perks and Benefits of Working at Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort: Very competitive salary.Career progression opportunities across the Windward group.Employee Assistance & Digital Wellness Programmes.Complimentary, high-quality meals on duty.Discounted room & dining rates in Windward properties for you as well as friends and family.Training and development opportunities dedicated to your development.Employee awards & staff recognition scheme including employee of the month, long service awards, team recognition days, and random treat days.Free parking.About Windward Management: Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management, a team of highly experienced hotel operators and investors with a hotel portfolio of approximately 2,000 keys in Ireland and Continental Europe.
