Job Description: EHS Manager - Food Manufacturing Site, KildarePosition: EHS Manager Location: Kildare Industry: Food Manufacturing Reports to: Site Director Team: 2 direct reportsRole Overview: We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards at our client's busy food manufacturing site in Kildare.
The successful candidate will manage a small team within the EHS department and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and enforce all EHS standards across the site.Lead and manage a team of 2 within the EHS department.Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to enhance safety and environmental performance.Provide training and guidance to staff on EHS best practices.Investigate and report on any incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all site activities comply with legal requirements.Prepare and present EHS performance reports to senior management.Continuously improve EHS practices through proactive risk management and stakeholder engagement.Requirements:Proven experience in leading EHS departments within a busy manufacturing environment, ideally within the food industryStrong knowledge of EHS regulations and standardsExperience in conducting and leading EHS auditsExcellent leadership and team management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant EHS qualification or certification
