Purpose Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Electrical Engineer for one of our clients in our growing data centre operations.
This role is vital in ensuring that data centres are not only operating efficiently but also comply with stringent safety and quality standards.
As an Electrical Engineer in a dynamic team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the electrical systems that enable such data centres to function smoothly.
You will work collaboratively with project managers, technicians, and other engineers to enhance the data centre's performance while minimizing operational risks.

Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for data centres Conduct routine inspections and audits of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system faults in a timely manner Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development and execution Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians Develop and maintain documentation related to electrical systems and maintenance procedures Monitor energy consumption and efficiency, making recommendations for improvements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Proven experience working in a data centre environment or similar industrial setting Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution and backup systems Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations Proficient in using electrical design and analysis software Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders Benefits Salary base 1 to 3 years experience 60K 3 to 5 years 70k 5 + 80k Health care Insurance pension contribution bike to work
